Customer Review: Best Tea Pot we've ever used

This is the second Chantal Tea Pot we've purchased. We wore the first one out after 15 years of daily use. The flat bottom sits nicely on the range and the capacity is good for more than a couple of cups of tea. The harmonica lid is pleasing to the ear.

Chantal's Teakettle's Hohner harmonica whistle has the resonance of a train whistle. Flat base promotes fast, even heat distribution that works on all stovetops. Enameled interior is chip resistant and prevents mineral buildup. Extra large lid opening for easy cleaning. 1.8-qt. capacity.This solidly built, classic-looking 1-4/5-quart teakettle says you're serious about your tea. The beautiful ceramic finish and shiny stainless-steel handle, lid, and pour spout make the kettle an eye-pleasing focal point on the stovetop. Even more of an attention-getter is the two-tone Hohner harmonica whistle--a reminder to the household that water is boiling and ready to pour. The smooth flat base ensures maximum contact with the burner on any ceramic, glass or induction stovetop. Water heats quickly, and the lid with its black rubber gasket keeps the heat in. A boldly curved stainless-steel handle and other parts can get quite warm, so use a potholder when lifting the kettle and flipping the whistle.
