I trust this manufacturer. I have a few frying pans by them and I got a small chip in one. Called them. Gave them the date of purchase, and from whom purchased. They told me to throw my old pan away and sent me a new one to replace it free of charge. I let the pans soak when washing and they come out well. Love the size of the 4-quart soup pot. Good luck. This petite soup pot is just the right size to simmer soup for four, boil a ½-pound of pasta or six Russet potatoes, or poach four pears. The pot can also be teamed up with Chantal?s 2-quart steamer insert to steam vegetables. The steel-rimmed, tempered glass lid has a high, domed shape and is transparent so you can cook without removing the lid and letting steam escape.
